Staff Cabin Renovation
Status: In Progress
Goal: Gut and rebuild the staff cabin to provide a clean, livable space for our summer teams.
Latest Update:
Electrical work is wrapping up. We are working to wrap up this project for the summer.
Next Steps:
Complete remaining interior work and finalize the space for summer use.
Mattress Replacement
Status: Under Review
Goal: Ensure campers and staff have safe, comfortable mattresses.
Latest Update:
Reviewing where mattresses have been sourced in the past
Noting issues that arose during the previous summer season
Next Steps:
Finalize bathroom replacement plan
Coordinate donated labor and materials
Continue renovations as winter access and scheduling allow
Boys Bathroom Rebuild
Status: Planning & Permitting
Goal: Replace aging facilities with a modern, code-compliant bathroom.
Latest Update:
We are contacting surveyors to confirm we are within property lines, and we have a contact in place for the foundation work.
Next Steps:
Complete surveying, finalize foundation plans, and continue moving toward the construction phase.
Tree & Grounds Maintenance
Status: Active Maintenance
Goal: Maintain safe, clear, and healthy grounds throughout the camp property.
Latest Update:
Recent efforts have focused on clearing downed trees across the property. A dedicated work day is scheduled in March to continue trail improvements and grounds cleanup.
Next Steps:
Complete the scheduled work day and continue monitoring for safety and erosion along the riverbank.
Rec Hall Restoration
Status: Early Stages
Goal: Restore and repurpose the Rec Hall so it can be used for teaching, activities, and community gatherings.
Latest Update:
Initial assessment confirms insulation removal and general cleaning are needed
Next Steps:
Continue planning and permitting
Develop a phased restoration approach
