Workday projects list
Do you have the tools, machinery, skills, or time to help us improve our camp? Your expertise can make a big difference at a lower cost!
We can cover the cost of supplies if you’re willing to volunteer your time. Here are some projects we need help with:
- - Cabin #9 Ceiling: Replace the plywood where there was water leakage.
- - Drainage Improvements: Create drainage ditches along the south side of the boys' cabins and possibly along the fronts to divert water during heavy rain.
- - Ladies' Staff Bathroom: Install a new exhaust system that vents outside.
- - Staff Cabin Showers: Upgrade to full-sized, tiled showers.
- - Epoxy Flooring: Seal the concrete floors in the cabins and dining hall with epoxy. This is an expensive project, so if you’re experienced with DIY epoxy, we’d love your help!

- 6. **New Lighting in Pavilion**: Can lights or canopy lights - $100 each (12 needed)
- 7. **Finish Whole House Fans in Cabins 5-10 and New One for Cabin 11**: 24” fans - $329 each
- 8. **Fans for Pavilion**: 30” oscillating wall mount - $165.95 each (2 - 4 needed)
- 9. **Convert Old Tennis Court to Pickleball Court**:
- - Portable net: $120 - $200
- - Permanent net: $400 (posts) / $80 - $100 (net)
- - Portable sets (net, balls, paddles): $200 - $300
- - Fix blacktop: $1,500 - $2,000
- 10. **Floating Dock**:
- - 5x12 (Home Depot): $870
- - 5x16: $1,113.26
- - 4x8 (Northern Tool): $1,099.99
- 11. **New Rec Hall Floor**: $15,000 - $20,000 (dependent on material and labor costs)

BOY'S BATHHOUSE FUND
We're raising funds to build a new boys' bathhouse. Thanks so much for helping us to continue to make a great experience for our campers and renters.

Online donations incur a small processing fee. To ensure the full amount of your gift goes directly to Rock River Bible Camp, please send a check to PO BOX 422, Dixon, IL 61021. Tax receipts will be sent at the end of the year for your records.

GEORGE & LEONA RALPH SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship exists to sponsor kids who cannot afford to go to camp to have the opportunity to do so. If you'd like to give towards this scholarship fund, please send a check designated toward this scholarship fund made out to Rock River Bible Camp to PO BOX 422, Dixon, IL 61021.
